The obverse of the medal comprises the flag of this great nation surrounded by the words ‘For Crown and Country’. The distinctive star formation has been inspired by the First and Second World War Star whilst its highly polished nickel plated finish ensures that it stands alone like no other struck in the United Kingdom.
