T&AVR Efficiency Full Size Medal

The Territorial Efficiency Medal is silver and ovular in shape and the obverse of the medal shows the crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. The reverse bears the inscription For Efficient Service. The suspension of the medal bears the legend Territorial and between 1968-82 T&AVR. Originally green with yellow edges, the medal ribbon was redesigned to incorporate the blue of the Army Emergency Reserve upon its absorbtion in to the T&AVR in 1967-8. 12 years reckonable and certified service in the Territorial Army and its overseas equivalents is the qualifying criteria for this medal.
