Awarded to the Indian Mutiny Medal 1857-59. This clasp was awarded to the troops under the command of Sir Colin Campbell who fought their way into Lucknow between 14th and 22nd November 1857 to relieve the besieged Residency garrison, which had already been reinforced (but not relieved) by Havelock and Outram in September.
