D-Day 80th Anniversary

80th Anniversary of the D-Day Landings 1944-2024

This year, as we commemorate 80 years since D-Day and the Normandy Campaign and mark this important moment in British military history, I am proud to confirm AWARD's continued support as sponsors of The Spirit of Normandy Trust. The Spirit of Normandy Trust supports the welfare for veterans and promotes educating the younger generation and the general public about the Normandy Campaign, the events leading up to them and their historical significance during World War II. The Trust also maintains the Normandy Campaign Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum and on-going maintenance of the Montgomery Statue in Normandy. We will also be playing a leading role in the organisation of the 80th Anniversary Commemorations. It is hoped that you will be keen supporters of the Trust through the purchase of the official Normandy 80 Commemorative Journal and the 80th Anniversary items featured.

Richard Palusinski, Chairman - The Spirit of Normandy Trust.

AWARD is proud to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy between 6th June and 20th August 1944, code name ‘Operation Overlord’, with the exclusive D-Day 80th Anniversary Collection.

Operation Overlord on 6th June 1944 was one of the key turning points in the Second World War. On D-Day, 6 June 1944, the United Kingdom, the United States, and their allies launched a combined naval, air and land assault on Nazi-occupied France.

Many events are planned to commemorate the 80th anniversary at home and on the beaches of Normandy (Omaha, Utah, Gold, Juno & Sword). Prepare to celebrate and commemorate this important event in our history and browse our D-Day 80 Collection and support the Spirit of Normandy Trust with your purchase.
