VJ Day 80 – 15th August 2025 – A Historic Moment of Celebration

As we move through 2025, we prepare to mark a profoundly significant milestone in our shared history — the 80^th Anniversary of VJ Day (Victory over Japan Day) on 15^th August 2025. This momentous occasion commemorates the end of the Second World War and the final victory that brought peace to the world.

On Friday 15^th August, the nation will come together in remembrance and celebration. Events will be held across the country to honour the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of all those who served and lived through the war in the Pacific. From community gatherings and remembrance services to beacon lightings and tributes, the day will be a powerful reflection of national gratitude and unity.

To help you mark this historic anniversary, AWARD will soon be launching a special collection of VJ Day commemorative items, thoughtfully designed to support meaningful participation in the day’s tributes and celebrations.

Orders for the VE & VJ Day clothing items are embroidered to order. Orders placed from the 1^st of May onwards are not likely to arrive before the 8^th of May for the VE Day celebrations. You can still order the items as they can be used for VJ Day.
