The General Service Medal 2008 was first awarded in 2016 by the Ministry of Defence to recognise specified operations, not qualifying for another campaign medal. The full-size medal is now available as a fully licensed, die-struck, museum quality replica medal and authorised by the MOD. It is struck to the same exacting standards as the original full size medal and comes with one Campaign clasp included in the price..
