National Service Day 2018
It was a pleasure to sponsor and support the sixteenth National Service Day event at the National Arboretum this year. The National Service Memorial and National Service Day were the brainchild of Gerald Rose, Chairman of the National Service Foundation, who campaigned tirelessly and was finally rewarded for his endavours in 2003. The then Prime Mninister, Tony Blair, confirmed that the last Sunday in June of each year was to be an official day of remembrance and reminiscence for all conscripts of National Service: National Service Day. It has always been a great pleasure for us at AWARD to work with and support Gerald who has retired from the role of organising it this year. His legacy to acknowledge the vital contribution of those who served National Service is one we can all be grateful for. .

Sharing boards are so popular at the moment especially for outdoor dining on balmy sunny days.

It is always lovely to receive customer feedback and we were delighted to hear how much it had meant to family members when they each received their father's replica medal and military items framed. Mrs Kirk said: "Thank you Award for the medal frame. We were incredibly moved seeing my father's medal and pictures mounted and framed so beautifully. This is something I will always treasure.
