  4. Demand for Cancellation of Liberty Concert

A petition has been launched to prevent a concert for 75K people on Sword Beach in Normandy on 6th June 2019 which would be exactly 75 years to the day of the D-Day Landings. Many feel very strongly that it is inappropriate to host a concert of this kind on the beach where hundreds of veterans lost their lives and where families have since scattered ashes of their loved ones who fought for our freedom. The petition is requesting that the concert be either cancelled or the date and location moved. To view petition click here.
