The miniature size medal is available to all those who served in the Army. The obverse of each medal bears the Army Service emblem of the minted nickel silver plated centre framed by a distinguished 24 ct gold plated border and the reverse, also gold plated, features a laurel wreath encasing the words FOR CROWN AND COUNTRY.
