2022 Queens Platinum Jubilee Miniature Medal
A miniature 2022 Platinum Jubilee Medal, celebrating the 70th anniversary of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II.
Miniatures complement the full size medal and are normally worn for formal dinner dress occasions.

History
Around 450,000 were awarded to serving Armed Forces, frontline emergency and prison service personnel with five full calendar years of service on 6 February 2022, plus Royal Household members and living VC and GC holders. The obverse is the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy; the reverse a lion on a crowned armorial helmet with ermine, between the dates 1952 and 2022. The ribbon is red with a broad royal blue centre and narrow silver grey edges.
Eligibility
This medal is for those actively serving. To wear it you must have been serving in 2022 and for five years before; it may otherwise be bought for collection but not worn.
