Full Size 1st Army Bar

The 1st Army Clasp was awarded for service with the 1st Army between 8 November 1942 and 12 May 1943. The first army were formed to command the British and American land forces as part of Operation Torch in Morocco and Algeria.

This bar can only be worn on the WWII Africa star. On the ribbon bar this may be represented by a silver number 1 numeral. 

The full size replica bar is gold in colour to match the medal and bears the words "1ST ARMY". It has 4 pre-drilled holes in each corner so that the bar can be stitched directly onto the ribbon, it should be stitched just above the medal ring.
