The 2012 Diamond Jubilee Medal
On 6th February 2012 HM The Queen will celebrate 60 years since her accesion to the throne on the death of her father King George VI. An official medal is being issued to serving personnel which will be awarded under similar guidelines to the 2002 Golden Jubilee medal. It is anticipated around 465,000 medals will be issued. This superb quality medal is die struck and assembled, in Birminghams historical Jewellery Quarter.
Please note that this is a REPLICA of the official Diamond Jubilee Medal and has the word 'COPY' discretely stamped above the dates on the reverse of the medal (illustrated) as is the requirement of the Medals Office.
