Award Productions Limited are a specialist personalised gift shop for all occasions and one of the largest suppliers of military commemoratives.
Award Productions Ltd has sponsored and issued 19* commemorative medals, all at the request of, or in conjunction with a bona fide veteran group or charity which benefit considerably from the proceeds of each medal issued.
We are proud to announce that Help for Heroes are the beneficiary of the new Cadet Forces Medal, struck to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the formation of the first Cadet Corp of Great Britain. This significant new issue will help to raise more money in support of our wounded troops. Available to all those who served and are presently serving in the Cadet Forces. Next of kin may also apply. Applications can be made using the enclosed catalogue, online at www.awardmedals.com or ask for an application form.
Can you wear commemorative medals or foreign medals? The directive from the Ministry of Defence in the U.K. is that: - they may not be worn alongside official awards and decorations or on official uniforms.
In the past these medals were usually worn on the right breast, but in the U.K. it has now become customary for them to be worn on the line below official issues, and medals of next of kin worn on the right breast.
Please note - Each country and many associations have their own rules and therefore we can only give guidelines and advice. Most people this applies to are now civilians, so in our opinion we feel that within reason, there should be allowance for personal preference.
For your information, listed below are the groups and charities for which we have sponsored medals and related projects as a result of which we have been able to raise over £975,000 from royalties and donations to date.
